25th Annual Roman Catholic Challenge

Friday and Saturday, January 20-
21, 2012

 

The Twenty-Fifth Annual Roman Catholic Challenge will take place January 20-21, 2012 at Valley Catholic School in Beaverton, Oregon. 

Roman Catholic Challenge, as you may or may not know, is an exciting, fast paced, Jeopardy style quiz game that pits young Catholics in grades 5 through 12 against similar teams responding with questions about their faith. The teams and their coaches spend time each fall studying the Catholic faith in preparation for these games. The religion learned by these students is the fulfillment of the vision Sister John, the founder of RCC. She hoped that children would come to know more about their faith than they might have in the typical school curriculum. And Sister John, recognizing that a little extra motivation might spark more interest, devised a set of cash rewards for the contest winners at each level.
